One famous bit of trivia about the film revolves around how star and producer Sharon Stone insisted on having Leonardo DiCaprio cast as "the Kid," going so far as to pay his salary when the studio wouldn't. In this E News! interview with DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone to promote their film Killers of the Flower Moon, DiCaprio reflects on Stone's gesture and its importance to his career:

Much of the film was partly shot at the Old Tucson studio (and its sister site in Mescal, Arizona), which has been rebuilt into a combination theme park and movie studio. Check out the park's official site below for more information:
