Although he didn't win any awards for his performance in Wings, Charles "Buddy" Rogers was awarded the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for his charitable work at the 1986 Academy Awards. Here, Bob Hope presents Rogers with the award:



Rogers and Richard Arlen spoofed their Wings roles in several TV shows. Here they appear as themselves on "The Lucy Show" as Lucy and Carol Burnett graduate from flight attendant school:
